Join a short-term small group for Lent

Our curriculum will follow the sermon series on issues of Social Justice and Peace.

As Christians, how do we respond to issues of violence, poverty, and the environment in our world?  How is this connected to our faith in Jesus Christ?

This short-term study will let us examine these issues, along with giving a chance to meet others from the church.  There are some on-going groups that are using this curriculum, while other groups are brand new.

Lent begins with our Ash Wednesday service on February 17th at 6:30pm.  All are invited to this service.  Each of these groups will be starting the week of February 21st.

On Sunday, March 7th, our bishop of the Florida Conference, Timothy Whitaker, will be with us on Sunday morning.  At 9:30am, he will lead a discussion on the study guide we will be using, "A Call to Hope and Action".
